Ridge Street Apartments, located at 145 Broome Street, will be a new 16-story, 191-unit, 100% deeply affordable senior housing development co-developed by Grand Street Guild and Catholic Homes New York. The residence will provide studio and one-bedroom apartments for low-income seniors aged 62 and older, with 30% of units reserved for formerly homeless seniors aged 55 and older. The development is located within Grand Street Guild’s campus on the site of a former day care facility and will include tenant amenities, outdoor seating, and on-site social services delivered by Catholic Charities Community Services. Construction financing closed in June 2025, and construction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2028.
