Attorney Street Apartments at 165 Broome Street is a 15-story, 232-unit affordable housing development that opened in Fall 2024, co-developed by Grand Street Guild and Catholic Homes New York. It serves households earning 30%–80% of AMI—including furnished units reserved for formerly homeless residents.

Built on the site of a former parking facility, the development replaces and modernizes that neighborhood resource by integrating structured parking through the second floor. Its brick façade, carved corner lobby, and community-oriented ground floor spaces—including social service offices, a fitness center, and a resident lounge—blend the new construction seamlessly into the Lower East Side context. Supportive services are provided by the Catholic Charities Community Services Housing Supportive Services Program.
